Innovation often begins with our customers.

Following our successful collaboration with the AirTox Monitor for the assessment of jet engine emissions, researchers at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) approached us with a new challenge: developing a customized automated aerosol sampling system capable of connecting multiple instruments for comprehensive aerosol characterization.

What began as a customer-specific solution has since evolved into the perfect complement to the AirTox Monitor.

The new Automated Aerosol Sampling System enables the seamless integration of multiple physicochemical aerosol analyzers into a software-controlled workflow. The result: reproducible and synchronized sample distribution across different analytical devices – including the AirTox Monitor.

This allows physical, chemical, and biological analyses to be performed on the very same aerosol sample, creating a unique workflow for comprehensive aerosol characterization.

A big thank you to the METENVIA team for their trust, inspiring idea, and great collaboration. What started as a tailored solution has now become the “twin” of the AirTox Monitor – opening up new possibilities for integrated aerosol analysis.
