Last week, we had an inspiring and rewarding time at AIT 2026 in Madrid!
It was particularly encouraging to see how rapidly human-relevant in vitro approaches are advancing in inhalation toxicology.
The need for suitable cell culture models, appropriate aerosol exposure technologies, meaningful biological endpoints, and reliable dosimetry was a common thread running through many of the scientific presentations and discussions.
These topics highlight the importance of connecting biological models with exposure technologies – from cell culture inserts to organ-on-chip.
Together with our partner AlveoliX, we enjoyed many valuable scientific exchanges and discussions about current challenges and future applications.
