What a great workshop in Geneva!
A big thank you to ALTERTOX and Epithelix for organizing this excellent hands-on lab training for in vitro lung models, and to all participants for the inspiring discussions, valuable exchanges, and many new ideas.
Workshops like these truly bring the community together – they are essential for scientific progress and for the broader acceptance of in vitro approaches in respiratory research.
We are already looking forward to reconnecting with many of you at the LIVe2026 Congress next autumn!
This two days hands-on training hosted by Epithelix will cover practical use of static and dynamic respiratory in vitro 3D tissues and exposure devices to evaluate acute and repeated dose inhalation toxicity and efficacy testing.
Registration fee includes the participant booklet, catering and social dinner.
A half-day will be dedicated to lectures, followed by one and a half days of practical sessions (hands-on training), where participants, divided into small groups, will have the opportunity to carry out key steps of the experiments alongside experts. This format offers an ideal way to quickly gain familiarity with the method, as well as with data analysis and interpretation.
